The Retirement of Joseph F. Wusinich, III

A Milestone in the Practice of Law in Chester County

Wusinich, Sweeney & Ryan, LLC, announces the retirement of Founding Partner Joseph F. Wusinich, III.  Mr. Wusinich founded our predecessor firm, Wusinich & Brogan, in 1978.  Throughout his career, Joe Wusinich represented clients with vigor, compassion, and integrity.  He set the tone for the practice of law at a high level at this firm and in Chester County.  Known as just “Joe” to his clients, his career has been one fighting for the rights of those who have been injured or wronged.  He is one of a number of well-known and regarded senior members of the Chester County Bar.

Joe was active in the community in his limited amount of spare time.  He served the public locally in his township on the Zoning Hearing Board of West Brandywine Township and served on the Board of Directors of Immaculata University in Malvern.  He and his wife, Kathy, have been active in St. Joseph’s Parish in Downingtown.   He served our country in Vietnam as a 1st Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers of the United State Army.

We wish the best for Joe and for his family in his retirement.  He has been a mentor to many attorneys in this County and was always free with his advice and time.  He embodies the best traits of the practice of law that the Chester County Bar is known for.
